In 1989, Mr. Chen Jinpei started his entrepreneurial journey in the lighter industry, initially producing and manufacturing finished lighters from a small family workshop. In 1990, after careful consideration of various factors at the time, Mr. Chen selected and leased a factory in Humen Town, Dongguan City, with the intention of shifting to the production of lighter components and parts. By early 1993, all basic preparations—including factory power supply, the purchase of two injection molding machines, and obtaining the business license—were complete. Thus, the Dongguan Humen Qimei Plastic Products Factory, under Mr. Chen Jinpei’s name, officially began operations, focusing primarily on the manufacture of lighter components and parts. The new factory’s business developed very smoothly; that same year, Qimei’s products were sold throughout mainland China and Southeast Asia, gaining widespread acclaim for their exceptional quality. To further expand his business, Mr. Chen chose a new location in Humen Town and, in 1995, established the Dongguan Humen Jinnianhua Hardware Factory in the Bomeilongdi Industrial Zone, continuing to strengthen and grow his enterprise.
However, as more and more individual entrepreneurs and enterprises entered the lighter manufacturing industry, competitive pressure in this field intensified, and the related technological applications gradually became obsolete due to advances in technology. Mr. Chen Jinpei comprehensively analyzed the market conditions at the time, adjusted his investment strategy, and began exploring new avenues for growth by entering the relatively niche area of bottle cap manufacturing. Eventually, in 1997, Mr. Chen Jinpei founded the Humen Jinfu Plastic Products Factory in Dongguan City, gradually shifting from the production of lighter components to bottle cap manufacturing—and by 1999, the factory had already achieved mass supply.
In 2000, Jin Fu Plastic Products Factory had already reached the scale of a general taxpayer in terms of business operations and tax payments. Therefore, in 2001, Mr. Chen Jinpei established Dongguan Jin Fu Industrial Co., Ltd., becoming the first enterprise in Humen Town that year to transition from an individual business operator to a general taxpayer. This marked the beginning of its corporate management model and laid the historical foundation for Jin Fu bottle caps.
Mr. Chen, who entered the bottle cap manufacturing industry, did not rest on his past glories. Instead, he led the Jinfu team to deeply invest in R&D, manufacturing, and service upgrades for bottle caps. In an era when equipment resources and manufacturing technologies in the bottle cap sector were severely scarce, Mr. Chen relied on self-reliance and successfully developed—on his own initiative—specialized machinery, molds, and automated equipment for bottle cap production. By mastering these core technologies in the bottle cap field, he achieved a landmark breakthrough: the nation’s first fully automated, continuous-flow production model for bottle caps that integrates “capping, ring cutting, and printing” into a single, seamless process.
Mr. Chen Jinpei has been guiding Jin Fu in researching and developing technologies in the bottle cap sector, addressing various technical challenges faced by customers in using bottle caps, and continuously introducing lightweight bottle caps that meet the needs of different eras, thus keeping Jin Fu at the forefront of China’s bottle cap industry.
To this day, as Jinfu Technology continues to thrive, Mr. Chen Jinpei’s original aspiration—to “make lids with heart”—remains the core principle guiding Jinfu’s team in carrying forward and further enhancing their achievements, and in continuing to create new milestones in the new era.
